Suang Tain Seafood Restaurant @ Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

With the high numbers of seafood restaurants in the city, Kota Kinabalu is surely the best place for seafood on Borneo Island. This is one of the reasons I came to Sabah for family trip.

Suang Tain Seafood Restaurant(双天海鲜楼), also known as Twinsky, is one of the oldest seafood restaurants in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Here customers can choose from a large variety of sea produces which are kept at the rows of aquariums.

Here, massive quantity of various live seafood are kept in rows of aquariums, giving diners glimpses of the wide selection of live sea creatures, which they can choose and pick from.

Prawns from the common size to larger tiger prawns are also available.

Mussel and a few types of clams are also good choices for some mouth-watering dishes.

Butter Prawns with Egg Floss @ RM25 (500g)

 Cereal Prawn @ RM25 (500g)

 Gong Bao Scallops @ RM25 (500g)

Scallops with Ginger and Spring Onions @ RM25 (500g)

Steamed Fish with Soy Sauce @ RM24

Grilled Sambal Stingray on Banana Leaf @ RM35

 Stir-Fried Vegetable @ RM15

 Kam Heong Crabs @ RM12 (1kg)

Stir-Fried Crabs with White Peppers @ RM12 (1kg)

 Butter Crabs @ RM12 (1kg)

Food at Twinsky can be considered as moderate in price, and better still, there are no additional charges like government and service tax. At this seafood restaurant, customers are served with a local fruits dish free of charge.

How to go there? Sedco complex is located near Kampung Air which is on the southern part of the city.
