- Wall climbing
- Paintball
- Oh gosh! I couldn't remember the third one
Among the three options for team building, most of my colleagues chose the second option and I was one of them as well. For me, I think that paintball is an excellent choice for team building because it's fun, fast paced game, that creates a high tension environment that is perfect for trust building exercises.
"Essence Communications Team-Building with Paintball" - the headline of our company's news for December 3, 2010. All of the 24 staffs went for paintball activity which was organized by our company as a token of appreciation. Most of my colleagues were very new to paintball game, some just played once or twice only.
There were three main paintball games: Capture the flag, capture the base & elimination. The third is a straight elimination in which the goal is to see which team can eliminate the other team's players first. A good paintball team will have several players whose main job is to eliminate as many players as possible by putting themselves in "danger" so they should be able to move quickly and have very good accuracy.
The day before going to this activity, I searched about paintball skills and I found that there is no specific way to win the game. RUN. HIDE. SHOOT. That's all!

Paintball @ Bukit Kiara
The feelings that players experience during a game is what makes paintball such a good team building sport. Nothing brings people together like a little pressure and competition, and paintball is by far the most fun you can have doing it!
