CELMONZE Annual Dinner @ Oriental Pearl Restaurant

It was not the first time I attended annual dinner but this CELMONZE annual dinner meant a lot to me. I joined this company since Nov 2011 and surprisingly I could adapt to this new environment in one week time. Alright, back to the topic. It was my first time emceeing & I am proud of my ability to rock the crowd!

I was pleased that they were all in jubilant mood, some of them expressed great happiness by shouting & laughing.

I went to Tropicana City Mall with my siblings this morning. We reached there at about 10am and saw hundreds of people lined up just to get the FREE paint. It was quite boring and monotonous to keep waiting in a long queue but luckily that 'ones that seem to move very slowly' which always happened in the past did not happen today.

After an hour of waiting, we could finally stepped in front of the counter and took home 5-litre tin of Seamaster paint. With the terms and conditions, each of us is only allowed to get 1 with registered account. There were 5 of us, so we got 5 tins!

 Spotted!

My sister told me this yesterday: "Be prepared to queue for a very time tomorrow" *she's right*

I do not see any point of this 'queue here' stand.

We got another 1 more tin from my sister's friend, so we got 6 tins all together!

EC Team Building with Paintball

  1. Wall climbing
  2. Paintball
  3. Oh gosh! I couldn't remember the third one
Among the three options for team building, most of my colleagues chose the second option and I was one of them as well. For me, I think that paintball is an excellent choice for team building because it's fun, fast paced game, that creates a high tension environment that is perfect for trust building exercises.

"Essence Communications Team-Building with Paintball" - the headline of our company's news for December 3, 2010. All of the 24 staffs went for paintball activity which was organized by our company as a token of appreciation. Most of my colleagues were very new to paintball game, some just played once or twice only.

There were three main paintball games: Capture the flag, capture the base & elimination. The third is a straight elimination in which the goal is to see which team can eliminate the other team's players first. A good paintball team will have several players whose main job is to eliminate as many players as possible by putting themselves in "danger" so they should be able to move quickly and have very good accuracy.

The day before going to this activity, I searched about paintball skills and I found that there is no specific way to win the game. RUN. HIDE. SHOOT. That's all!

While waiting for the 'guys' to come...

 Paintball @ Bukit Kiara

The feelings that players experience during a game is what makes paintball such a good team building sport. Nothing brings people together like a little pressure and competition, and paintball is by far the most fun you can have doing it!

Nielsen Auditorium Music Test

Nielsen Auditorium Music Test was held at Grand Caymans Ballroom, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa this afternoon. This survey was conducted to measure media audiences or to be precise, radio listeners.

There were over two hundred people coming for this music test. It was my first time and I felt like I was going to an audition because each of the respondents was given one specific number sticker. I reached there at about 1 o'clock but the music test started at 2 o'clock. As you know, Malaysian timing!!!

It was a relaxing test that I have ever had! It sounds unbelievable, right? Let's me tell you more about it. Imagine that you don't need to bring anything for test as the pen and mineral water will be provided, just go inside the ballroom and have your seat. After a few minutes of briefing, what you need to do is to sit back and listen to 500 English songs (just chorus part). For each of the songs, you will need to circle the answer whether you like it or no. In addition, refreshments will be provided as well. At the end of the test, you will receive a token of RM100 cash as appreciation! You want it?

Registration started at 1 o'clock but most of the respondents were late for that! *they're just so Malaysian*

 My lucky number -- 234

Respondents from different age categories

Exam phobia

500 questions! If this was a school test, I would definitely say: HELL, NO!!!

You see! I still got time to snap picture during the test *laughs*

*lub-dub* I couldn't stop my heart from beating so fast!

RM100 for 2 hours of music test! AWESOME!
