初恋红豆冰 Ice Kacang Puppy Love

Saya begitu besar ru tak boleh nampak kah?

Teen raped orphan in classroom

"Teen raped orphan in classroom"

I have read today's newspaper and I was stunned when I saw this shocking news -- A 14 years old Indian girl was raped by her own classmate in the classroom when during recess time.

Oh my god! What the hell! During recess time? In the classroom? By own classmate?

I always thought that school is a safety place because there are many teachers, students and even guard walking around all over the school. But how come this kind of stupid thing happened?

According to the reporter, the victim, a quiet teenager, did not report the rape to anyone at first. But, after nearly a week, she found the courage to inform a counsellor from her orphanage before lodging a police report on Monday.

Everyday when I flip the newspaper, I could see there must have published the news about rape cases. One thing that victim should do is report to the police as fast as possible and the medical staffs will collect the sperm fluid or any kind of materials on victim's body which is suspicious.

It's sad to hear about that. People are becoming more and more out of control today. My friend told me to buy a pepper spray as a protection to myself and I think I really should get myself a self defense device. To girls, please be alert all the time and don't always walk alone in the dark night because it's very dangerous.

How To Make Your Blog Popular

I have just started my new blog this year and I was wonder is there any ways to make my blog become popular and thus make money from that? This few days, I kept reading people's blog and noticed that most of the girls like to put sexy pictures in their blog as the way to attract crowds. Individually, I do like the famous blogger --Kenny Sia. He is a brilliant, outstanding and excellent blogger! In his blog, I could see many creative pictures and quality contents.

1. Have A Point

This is the most important thing you can do. Too many people start blogs and try to turn it into an online diary. That said, you can be dull and have a regular following, it just won’t be very big. Which isn’t why you’re reading this – you want popularity. So have a point!! Make it interesting. Have something to say, and say it with passion. Look at that guy crying about Britney Spears on YouTube. He didn’t really have a lot to say, but he said it so dramatically, most of the world saw it. So if you’re not going to have a point worth sharing, at least make it worth laughing at - you just might end up with your own reality show, like him!

2. Customize Your Blog Design

People are naturally attracted to eye-catching things. Have a cool looking blog and you’ve already come a long way without trying. I don’t care how nice your content is – if you’re blog is totally boring, I’m not going to want to visit. You don’t have to shell out wads of cash, there are plenty of people who make custom templates for reasonable prices.

3. Blog-Hop

If you want an audience, you need to go get one, baby. Find blogs related to the things you want to blog about and then make friends. Don’t fake it – that becomes very obvious very quickly. Which is why I suggest you find blogs you LIKE, then it won’t be a chore commenting on them. Visit, chat, shoot the breeze. Leaving comments on other blogs will also get you visitors from those blogs, provided you’ve said something interesting and make them want to come see what else you have to say.

4. Talk to Your Readers!

This is a major mistake bloggers make. If someone takes the time to read your blog and leave comments, you can spare 5 seconds and at least say thank you. If I leave comments on your blog and you don’t at least acknowledge my existence, I leg it to another blog. But then, I’m a huffy little Princess and I enjoy attention. All the same, make your readers feel like they matter to you – and really, they should matter to you, fans are very important!

5. Blog Frequently

Don’t just blog once a week and expect people to check in every day. That’s not fair to them, and it will just make people think you can’t be bothered. Even if you have nothing worth saying, blog at least every other day if at all possible. You can always find something clever on YouTube to entertain your readers while you attend to whatever else you have going on. These are the main things that will get your blog noticed.

Management

What is "Management"?

Traditional Interpretation

There are a variety of views about this term. Traditionally, the term "management" refers to the set of activities, and often the group of people, involved in four general functions, including planning, organizing, leading and coordinating activities. (Note that the four functions recur throughout the organization and are highly integrated.)

Another Interpretation

Some writers, teachers and practitioners assert that the above view is rather outmoded and that management needs to focus more on leadership skills, e.g., establishing vision and goals, communicating the vision and goals, and guiding others to accomplish them. They also assert that leadership must be more facilitative, participative and empowering in how visions and goals are established and carried out. Some people assert that this really isn't a change in the management functions, rather it's re-emphasizing certain aspects of management.

What Do Managers Do?

Both of the above interpretations acknowledge the major functions of planning, organizing, leading and coordinating activities -- they put different emphasis and suggest different natures of activities in the following four major functions. They still agree that what managers do is the following:

1. Planning

including identifying goals, objectives, methods, resources needed to carry out methods, responsibilities and dates for completion of tasks. Examples of planning are strategic planning, business planning, project planning, staffing planning, advertising and promotions planning, etc.

2. Organizing resources

to achieve the goals in an optimum fashion. Examples are organizing new departments, human resources, office and file systems, re-organizing businesses, etc.

3. Leading

Including to set direction for the organization, groups and individuals and also influence people to follow that direction. Examples are establishing strategic direction (vision, values, mission and / or goals) and championing methods of organizational performance management to pursue that direction.

4. Controlling, or Coordinating

This occurs with the organization's systems, processes and structures to effectively and efficiently reach goals and objectives. This includes ongoing collection of feedback, and monitoring and adjustment of systems, processes and structures accordingly. Examples include use of financial controls, policies and procedures, performance management processes, measures to avoid risks etc.

Stand on One's Own Feet

My mother told me to be a lady. And for her, that meant be your own person, be independent. I've learned to earn money when I was in form 3 and I got many working experiences: teacher, day-care tutor, clerk, sales assistant, part-time job promoter and research assistant. I've met many different types of people and I know it's just a small part of all over the real world. I'm glad that I've found my best buddies and I have been knowing them for almost 8 years.

I suddenly feel like writing something about independent. You know, I hate people rely on me especially those people I don't like the most. I noticed that most of the people who are the youngest in the family tend to have evident dependence. Even though they look tall or unpleasant, but in the bottom of their heart, they are like a baby. Hello! It's time to grow up! *roar*

On top of that, I would like to clarify something that I always go back home doesn't mean I really need mummy to take care of me. I've learned to cook when I was in standard five and even my daddy also said that I'm the most independent girl in the family. Then what is the reason of going back home frequently? I would say that I'll be more happy to be with my hometown friends and family if compared to housemates. Sometimes, doesn't click mean doesn't click.

Another 2 more weeks, I would have my internship in Nanyang and I hope to have a new experience with new friends. I don't mind to work in a strange environment as I like meeting new people and I've always wanted to try something new. *wink*

Oh ya, I've found a quote about girl and I think it's very true. Let's share it together:

Before marriage, a girl has to make love to a man to hold him.
After marriage, she has to hold him to make love to him.

May's Cupcakes

Well, I woke up in the afternoon at 12pm and the first thing that I did was not taking my lunch but making cake box. Guess what, one of my best friends May May is going to have her 23th birthday at 20/4/2010 but we plan to give her a pre-celebration today. *wink*

I kept finding wrapping paper and some decorative materials in my study room because it was so hot at outside and I felt so lazy to go out and buy papers. Making decorative stuffs is not a difficult task for me as I have wanted to decorate new things or design something that are unusual. The materials included paper box, wrapping paper, flower wrapping paper, glue, scissors, pen, ruler, stapler and etc.

After an hour plus, I've get the cupcakes box done! Congrats! I should give myself a big clap! Then, I quickly packed up all the stuffs and came to Fellxion's house for making cupcakes. This girl is really talented in baking and yes, she can be a good wife. She mixed up the icing sugar, butter, lime juices and food colouring. There are several ways to frost a cupcake cake, and it depends on the “look” you’re going for.

Jia Jun, Fellxion and I had spent about 2 hours to make the cupcakes : Dust with icing sugar on top of each cupcake, decorated the alphabet letters and frosted with coco powder . Three of us who got many cooking experiences had succeed to make our own-decorated cute cupcakes. *how about a round of applause?*

Butter cupcakes, icing sugar, food colouring and other ingredients

Finally! It was 100% done! We had fun in making these cupcakes

《Save Green》

Yesterday, I woke up at 6 o'clock in the morning after only 4 hours of sleeping. The idea amount of sleep if according to health specialist is 7-9 hours per day. I knew that I got no enough sleep but I felt so great to wake up in the early morning. When the sky is still dim, I walked out from my house and listened to the bird's song, I could feel the beautiful of nature and the sweet smell of the dawn-- a brand new day!

After the preparation, I took LRT & KTM from Kelana Jaya to Bangi. Along the way, I listened to mp3 songs and I felt so great! My friend Lee San picked me up at library and then we both came to the Cheras Leisure Mall to help out in an event "Save Green Warriors Press Conference".

Save Green is about taking positive actions to protect our Earth and so every day. The truth is that everything single thing we do every day has an impact on the planet -- good or bad. The good news is that as an individual you have the power to control most of your choices and, therefore, the impact you create: from where you live to what you buy, eat, and use to light your home to where and how you vacation, to how you shop or vote, you can have global impact.

Performance Artists: Aric Ho(何志健), Amy(王明丽), Jeffery (庄惟翔), Stella Chung(钟晓玉), Jym Chong(庄靖毅), dana Mariana, Vicky(陈薇芝), Wincci aka (苏盈之), aka Athena(马嘉轩), Victor Lee aka (李俊杰), aka Jeanie(李幸倪)... ...

The host was asking Aric Ho (the main supporter) about the ideal of this event

Artists were sitting in the front row and ready to get up to stage for interview

The host was asking the artists about how did they join this event

Well, Aric Ho is a very friendly and outspoken person

I have just created my own icon for my blog with adobe photoshop. Well, it actually need not more than 5 minutes to replace the original HTML codes with my own codes.

Thank for the tutorial, Fellxion ^^

Get Warm This Winter@Winter Warmers

Winter Warmers Coffee & Tea House, a traditional English tea house served a wide variety of English Teas. Its pretty floral wallpaper and table cloths, frilly white window lace, luxurious tea settings creates a homely and inviting atmosphere. Its British concept denotes the cosiness of drinking hot tea in cold winter to warm up ourselves".

Set meals range from RM15.90 to RM19.90. Each set comes with a plate of salad and a pot of black tea. But I had selected a portion of grilled dory fish and a pot of rose green tea. I was a bit of disappointed when I saw the meal was not exactly the same with the one in the menu. *Instead of finger french fries, I prefer the cross trax fries more.*

It's a very nice environment with all those soft musics and the best-suit lighting. It gives people a feeling of comfortable and unrestrained. The creativeness of combining floral teas with coffee build a new route for the coffee lovers to enjoy the distinctive taste of lavender.

After the dinner, I was supposed to go home earlier before 12am. But I know I should have stayed up late tonight when I met up with Karen's high school friends -- a bunch of intellect! I don't really know them but we did chat well after knowing each other. I have always wanted to make new friends and it would be a good chance for me to show my communication skills. *wink*

The second round gathering was in Klang. The first time I came to this "yum cha" restaurant with the name of The Shepherdo. Well, the pricing is reasonable if compared to other restaurants. The birthday boy Vernon opened a bottle of liquor while some of us ordered cocktails like Tequilla Sunrise, Envy, Mojito and so on. We played poke card and for those who lost, they need to drink 1 shot of liquor. But, for those who drive, they didn't have to drink much, their passenger would take the punishment. The birthday boy had taken about 6 shots while I just taken 3 shots only. People asked me : Peng, you put blusher? *laughed*

The third round session was in Club 7, Subang Square. We played pool and fussball. The last round was in mamak, and it was 4am in the morning! Oh! I stayed up late again! I need to put facial mask!!! Once again, I would like to wish my friend "Vernon, Happy Birthday"!
