Another year has just started, welcome 2012!

Today, I pampered myself with scrumptious food and the most pleasant thing was hanging out with good buddies. I really love food hunting and would want to try as many nice food as possible. *Thanks god, i am still wearing S size clothes*

We had lunch in a famous Thai restaurant - Chakri Palace @ Suria KLCC. I have always wanted to try Thai cuisine because I heard many people saying that Thai food is TASTY! Overall, the meal was very good and I would recommend Chakri Palace to any visitor to KLCC who appreciates good Thai food.

Xian Ding Wei Taiwanese Tea Room @ Sunway Pyramid

Today, I had dinner with my old friends at Xian Ding Wei Taiwanese Tea Room (鲜定味). My these 'old friends' or so called 'former army' have not met each other for years. We joined the Malaysian National Service Training Program in 2004 and after 6 years, we had the chance to meet each other.

Well, it's really hard to get everyone to meet up because some of them stay very far away, some of them has gone overseas, some are busy with their works and etc. Anyway, it's happy to see each other again although there were only five of us. I felt happy and excited when we talked about those days in National Service Camp, some incidents I could not even recall until they mentioned. *laugh*

Only 5 of us attending the gathering.
Pei Shi FFK in last minute, she promised to meet up but she never show up. *disappointed*

Okay, let's talk about the food now. The name of this restaurant 'Xian Ding Wei' is quite catchy when you read it in Chinese - it sounds like you need to reserve the place before dining there. The food is quite okay but I would prefer the food in Kim Gary Restaurant.

 M. Pork Sauce Noodles @ RM9.90

 Seafood Noodles Soup @ RM14.90

Sauteed Spicy Dice Chicken Meat Set @ RM18.90

Seafood Fried Bee Hoon @ RM14.90 *too salty*

Bel Pasto Italian Restaurant @ Kepong

According to Chinese tradition, the second day of the Chinese New Year is for married daughters to visit their parents while the third day (so called 'the God of Blazing Wrath') which is generally not a good day to socialize or visit relatives and friends.

But nowadays, people don't really follow the rules of culture. For me, I would not spend my whole day for doing nothing at home during the Chinese New Year as I know holiday is such a precious thing for working people.

Well, I had a pleasant day with my high school friends. In the afternoon, we went to teacher's house to have lunch and after that we hopped to friend's house to collect ang pow. Before dinner, we watched a Cantonese movie 'I Love Hong Kong' which was nice and meaningful. I would say that the movie is a lot better than 'All's Well End's Well 2011'.

New Purse

Yeah! I got my new purse! Finally, I found the one I want as I have been looking for this kind of soft leather purse for quite some time. The purse comes in three colors: apple green, purple gray & ivory white. With both a warming and cooling effect, the color green denotes balance, harmony, and stability. I really love this Vincci purse! Guess what, it costs about RM55 only!

Leather purse with 11 credit card slots & 2 compartments for coin/ cash

Souvenir by Fellxion

What is this? Have a guess!

Super sweet necklace with crochet details

My secondary good friend Fellxion bought me this black-and-white necklace from Singapore. I like it so much! Thanks! *hugs*

Supper Session

I went out for supper with secondary buddies last night. They delighted my day with join and fun which I will never ever forget the moment when being together with them. They mean so much to me, they have helped me to find special outlook on life that was hiding deep inside me. I'm glad that I have them as my best buddies.

"Whenever time will take us, wherever we may be, I always want you guys to remember how much you guys mean to me", I said.

Her Convocation

I had a very good day with my high school friends yesterday. Making fun along the journey; teasing around; we laughed when someone cracked a joke; sharing our stories -- All these were the happy moments when being together with them. We are caring and concerned for each other because we make each other so happy and we love to be together with each other.

I went to local university for my high school friend's convocation yesterday. Oh my god, UPM is so big and you might get lost in the place. For your knowledge, UPM is the biggest university in Malaysia.

I came to this place yesterday -- University Putra Malaysia (UPM).

Congratulations!!! Tham Kam Pei!

"When you leave here, don't forget why you came" -- for the graduate!

I said : Hey, look at the picture, I saw orange, green apple, strawberry, banana & blackcurrant!
Peggy said: I saw Power Rangers! *laugh out loud*

We bought her Sheaffer pen with name engraved, she would have loved it!

Spotted! It doesn't relate to the story. Haha!

Before we left the place, she hugged and kissed each of us as she's so touched of our attendance. Where did we go after that? Going back home? Of course a NO! We went to the famous steamboat buffet style restaurant in Serdang -- Hai Tang Restaurant. What so special of this restaurant? Find it out in the picture below:

BBQ! The attractiveness of the restaurant! But for me, it's usual as I could find many other better steamboat buffet style restaurant in Bandar Sunway. Am I right, to those who live in Bandar Sunway?

Tom Yam Soup & Chicken Soup

I was busy snapping pictures while they were busy eating.
p/s: Karen, you are so cute!

Before sharing my own opinion, let's read their comments first:

Kit Mun : Why people say this restaurant is special? Personally, I don't think so.
Karen : The most delectable would be the Chinese tea, the rest are so-so.
Peggy : We should eat more as we paid it for RM25++ per person! It's slightly expensive.
Amanda : The BBQ stingray is not fresh. It got the smell. But the BBQ squids are tasty.

Well, I would say that the foods are not as delicious as the foods in Sunway's steamboat restaurant. The only thing I like would be the ice-cream while the rest are neither very good nor very bad. The place is so HOT! FOUL! I kept sweating man!
