Nielsen Auditorium Music Test

Nielsen Auditorium Music Test was held at Grand Caymans Ballroom, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa this afternoon. This survey was conducted to measure media audiences or to be precise, radio listeners.

There were over two hundred people coming for this music test. It was my first time and I felt like I was going to an audition because each of the respondents was given one specific number sticker. I reached there at about 1 o'clock but the music test started at 2 o'clock. As you know, Malaysian timing!!!

It was a relaxing test that I have ever had! It sounds unbelievable, right? Let's me tell you more about it. Imagine that you don't need to bring anything for test as the pen and mineral water will be provided, just go inside the ballroom and have your seat. After a few minutes of briefing, what you need to do is to sit back and listen to 500 English songs (just chorus part). For each of the songs, you will need to circle the answer whether you like it or no. In addition, refreshments will be provided as well. At the end of the test, you will receive a token of RM100 cash as appreciation! You want it?

Registration started at 1 o'clock but most of the respondents were late for that! *they're just so Malaysian*

 My lucky number -- 234

Respondents from different age categories

Exam phobia

500 questions! If this was a school test, I would definitely say: HELL, NO!!!

You see! I still got time to snap picture during the test *laughs*

*lub-dub* I couldn't stop my heart from beating so fast!

RM100 for 2 hours of music test! AWESOME!

Tangled Movie Trailer

What do you see in this poster? A pair of couple hiding behind of something? When I first saw this poster, I thought it was an advertisement - promoting new hair colour or something else. *laughs*

But this poster is creative and it could deliver the message to the audiences. Walt Disney Pictures presents "Tangled", one of the most hilarious, hair-raising tales ever told.

You must have heard of this classic fairy tale, right? The long-haired Princess Rapunzel spent her entire life in a tower, but when she falls in love with a bandit who was passing by she must venture into the outside world for the first time to find him.

Release date: 25 November 2010 (Malaysia)

How To Prevent Computer Radiation

Do you constantly use the computer, whether it be for work, entertainment, or to manage finances? If you ask me this question, I would definitely give you a 'YES'. I know that computer give off harmful radiation that is bad for health.
Computers, along with any other electronic gadgets, emit certain electromagnetic rays and frequencies. It is similar to secondhand smoking. You end up absorbing all the harmful computer radiation. I got my eyes very dry after facing the computer for long hours. Well, to be precise, exactly 10 hours (8 hours at office and the rest at home).

I hereby to share some useful tips on how to prevent computer radiation. If you have read this, please tell your friends or anyone you care about.

  1. Attach a radiation filter plate in front of your computer screen. Make sure you do not have any metal substances near your computer, as these can reflect electromagnetic radiation that can be harmful to your health.
  2. Put some radiation absorbing plants near your computer to prevent computer radiation. For example, putting several potted cactus can help absorb some of the harmful radiation.
  3. Drinking 2 to 3 cups of green tea will help. As green tea can be assimilated by the body easily into a form of vitamin A, which is later synthesised into a substance called rhodopsin, it helps reducing radiation.
  4. Remember to rinse your face with clean alkaline water to eliminate some electromagnetic radiation particles that may have attached to the surface of your face.
  5. Take some foods which are rich in vitamin A and C such as carrots, cherries, apples, bean sprouts, tomatoes as a good measure to reduce the harmful effect of an indoor radiation.

Laptop Skin

I went to Digital Mall to buy some computer stuffs yesterday. I hereby to advise you that if you want to buy low-cost computer stuffs but don't feel like going too far, Digital Mall which located in PJ would be a good choice for you.

I bought a 'skin' for my laptop. Sounds ridiculous right? Don't get me wrong, what I meant was 'laptop skin', a removable and reusable sticker to make a laptop unique. There is a promotion which offers good computer materials and worth to buy. I spent RM20 for a laptop skin, earphone and keyboard cover. CHEAP right?

I love it so much! Awesome designs!
The sticker 'EAVEN' is not included in the RM20, I got it from my sister's bf Alvin, thanks!

Far East Movement - Like A G6 ft. The Cataracs, Dev

I am pretty sure that everyone of us has had heard about "G6", am I right? You should have heard about "Like A G6", the first most downloaded song currently. My colleague showed me this music video and kept saying to me how cool the song is. Oh! I felt like shaking my butt to the rhythm of the music. It is really cool man!

"Like a G6" is a 2010 electro single by Far East Movement.

Speaking to MTV, group member Kev Nish explained the origin of the catchy chorus: "A G6 is not a Gatorade flavor. It's not a car, convertible, four-door. It's not a watch."

What the hell does it mean? It is a plane."G" stands for Gulfstream and the "6" would have referred to Gulfstream's still-in-production G650 model, the fastest civil aircraft ever produced. *laughs*

Do you wear sunglasses in the club? Let's watch the cool video below:

Teluk Gong Seafood Restaurant

If you are a seafood-aholic and looking for cheap & fresh seafood, you might have heard of a famous seafood restaurant called Teluk Gong or Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant. Do bear in mind if you are coming from Kuala Lumpur or Petaling Jaya, you might be in for a little drive trip.

Yesterday, I went to this place with my lovely family and also my sister's boyfriend Alvin. And guess what? The journey to Teluk Gong from Subang Jaya took approximately 45 minutes (luckily I was not the driver). We reached here at about 8pm which can be considered as 'quite early'. I feel that this is the place for the best seafood in Klang area. Not a surprised that they have been in the newspaper and local media. Located in the middle of an oil palm estate, you could see oil palm trees everywhere.

It was not only a dinner. Instead of that, it was a birthday dinner of my younger sister Chloe who has just passed her 2X. If you know my age, it would be easy for you to guess how old she is this year. We ordered 7 dishes with a total amount of RM175. Anyway, I would like to say thank you to the birthday girl for paying the bill. *laughs*

My Daily Supplements

We are supposed to get our nutrients from food every single day. Basic needs like calcium, iron, Vitamin C, magnesium, and protein, just to name a few, should come from the foods we eat and should provide us with more than enough nutrients to remain healthy and active. Unfortunately, in today's busy world, we often do not eat the way we should all the time, and that's where daily vitamin supplements come in.

Nowadays, I seldom eat fruit and vegetables as I don't have 'extra time' to wash, pare and slice the fruit. But it doesn't mean that I don't care about my health. So, I find a good way by taking daily supplements which could help to ensure of getting the proper nutrition I need each and every day.

Here's my daily supplements:
Don't be shocked of looking all these supplements I take every day.

Chicken Essence @ RM31 (half dozen)
It helps to relieve fatigue and to restore both mental alertness and physical energy

 Effervescent Vitamin C @ RM38 (30 tablets)
It helps to maintain body's immune system

 Natberry @ RM60 (100 tablets)
It makes the blood vessels penetrated and increase the shipment of oxygen-rich blood into the eyes

 Greenfield Organic @ RM188

Besides that, I do drink a glass of warm milk (Anlene) before bedtime to induce sleep. I really need to have a good sleep after working so hard in the day.

No matter how, I will still need to do exercise regularly. *wink*
