4 Happy Seasons Restaurant

First of all, I would like to say : HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO ISAAC ROSE!

It was a awesome birthday celebration yesterday! First station, we went to 4 Happy Seasons Restaurant which located at the opposite of Wangsa Walk Mall. This restaurant has their own uniqueness as it is a conceptualized restaurant with a specific theme. The birthday boy bought us to this special restaurant with 4 season theme setting: Spring, summer, autumn and winter go in a sequence year after year and these seasons represent different moods.

After a few minutes of discussion, we picked 'winter' (not winter sonata). *laughed* I love the environment and the service is not bad too. A restaurant that highlights the many colorful cultures of Malaysia and with a strong emphasis on design Not only that, the food menu is also based on the 4 different seasons. I strongly agreed to their motto: ★ 5 star Environment 3 star pricing ★

Avelyn says: "Be careful when you go on the stairs as you may fall off."

The sky was so blue after raining. I never know there is existence of such nice view.

 Girls, look up!

wtf?

Rihanna's umbrella version is outdated! Fellxion's new version: Stand under the lamppost~ post~post~

Everything is so blue, can you feel the coldness?

Nobody nobody but you~~ you~~ you~~

Oh No! Scandal! May with Avelyn?

From the left: Vanilla mixed with Red Bean *recommended*, Vanilla mixed with Sea Coconut, Vanilla mixed with Passion Fruit @ RM5.80 each

Ivory dress + Snow White Beverage + White Creamy Spaghetti *wink*

Balinese Grilled Seafood Spaghetti @ RM11.80 *delectable*
(I'm crazily in love with pasta/ spaghetti, luckily this creamy spaghetti didn't disappointed me.)

Chicken Breast Salad
(Diet meal for Fellxion, I tried the sauce but not that impressing me.)

Sweet & Spicy Chicken Chop @ RM14.80
(Jun ordered this, somehow I don't like the sauce, sweet & spicy just not fine with blended together)

Balinese Lamb Combo @ RM23.80
(I don't eat lamb, so according to my friends, this lamb chop with satay sauce = lamb satay)

Japanese Seafood Udon @ RM9.80
(Honestly, it was not very delightful, nothing special.)

Clay Pot Tofu @ RM10
(If compared to Chinese Restaurant, the taste was not good enough.)

2nd Round: Wing's Restaurant

Wing's Restaurant is located in SS15, Subang Jaya (opposite row of Salmon Steak House). It's not as big as Station1 Restaurant but the singers are very talented! Awesome!

Last time, I always went to Station1 Restaurant for 'yumcha' session. Since I came to Little Bali Restaurant, I don't feel like going to Station1 anymore. But now, Wing's will be my first choice among these 3 restaurant.  I came here twice and I noticed that one of the singer Joe is a very outspoken person. Making climate hot? It definitely not a problem for him!

It was already 11 o'clock when we arrived the place. Buying cake? All the cake shops have already closed. So, my friend May suggested to make a creative cake for him with oreo chocolate bar, ice-cream and ferrero. Let's see the picture below:

Not bad, huh?

The birthday boy was asked by the singer to go around and shake hand with audiences. He got meal for free!

This is May! She went upstage and PK the singer! *a big clap for her*
She picked the song : When You Say Nothing At All

A great day! Unspeakable good! They made my day~

'Titanic' in 3-D to be Released in 2012

The 1997 James Cameron's blockbuster movie will be re-released to coincidence with the 100th anniversary of the ship's sinking. Despite the controversy over the lack of quality of some 3D conversion, Cameron will turn his 1997 film to 3D.

Following the success of Avatar, James Cameron has said that he plans to covert his previous hit film Titanic in 3-D. According to him, this 3-D version will be released in 2012.

Since the director spent years inventing new cameras to shoot Avatar in 3-D, he is not likely to do a cheap and easy 3-D version of Titanic. He has got two years to perfect it.

AVATAR: SPECIAL EDITION IN THIS AUGUST (EXTRA 8 MINUTES)

Jame Cameron today announced that AVATAR: SPECIAL EDITION will be released in cinema on 27th August, in a limited engagement and exclusively in digital 3D.

He commented: "Audiences repeatedly told me they wanted more of Pandora, and wished they could have stayed there longer. So we're making that possible. This special edition will be exclusively in 3D, and will have 8 minutes of never before seen footage, including new creatures and action scenes. Whether you already love the movie, or you've never seen it, with this special edition, you'll be seeing it like never before."

Would you pay to see 8 extra minutes of AVATAR?

Bird Predict World Cup Champion 2010

Breaking news!!! Ending all suspense and speculations, Paul the Octopus has predicted that Spain will win the FIFA World Cup 2010, by beating the Netherlands in the final. Paul also predicted that Germany will finish third.

Paul the Octopus, all of whose predictions came true during this World Cup went against Mani the Parakeet (Parrot), who favored the Netherlands to win the World Cup.

Over in Singapore, AP reported that Mani crept out its his small wooden cage and had to choose between two white cards - one hiding the flag of the Netherlands, the other Spain. Mani grabbed a card in his beak Friday and flipped it over to reveal the Dutch flag.

Mani picking up a card with the flag of the Netherlands in Singapore's Little India neighborhood as his owner.

Paul the Octopus did not choose the box with the Dutch flag. Rather, he went for the box with the Spanish flag, ending all drama.

When asked to predict the winner in the 3rd place play-off, Paul chose Germany ahead of Uruguay, much to the delight of the German fans.

Paul the octopus selected SPAIN

Mani the bird selected NETHERLANDS

Who do you believe? Paul or Mani?

Paul the Octopus needs Hankerchief

Paul, the Octopus has become very famous after his 6 accurate predictions for the 2010 World Cup Football Finals for matches involving Germany and Spain. This brilliant German Octopus already stunned all the German fans and always predicted that Germany will win but for the World Cup 2010 Semifinal prediction between Spain vs Germany, Paul Octopus selected Spain.

Paul's life could be in danger threatened by angry Germans and now Spanish authorities are stepping in with suggestions to keep him.

"Nothing beats grilled octopus" said Germany fan.

"Cut him up in thin slices and grill him on all sides with dash of lemon juice, olive oil and garlic on it. Delicious!" According to Reuters, German newspapers and websites have been filled with suggestions of what to do with physic Paul -- "most involved cooking and eating him".

Will Paul become a dish on one day? Where is the humanity?

We know that all octopuses have 9 brains so we know he has exceptional power. We shouldn't put the blame on him because he's just a creature, not a human. If he would pick Germany instead of Spain, Paul would become the superstar in German; but Paul selected Spain and now everyone is talking about octopus recipe.

If Paul the Octopus know crying, his tears might be mixed with the water. Who knows?

What will Paul's predictions be for the World Cup Champion 2010?

I'm not a football fan and I didn't mean to support any team. Sorry if I have offended you guys.

Shopping!

Oh! My feet are so sore after walking for a long time or in other words, spending more than an half day for shopping. This morning, I was constantly awakened by these voices -- when my little brother was playing piano at 8 o'clock! That's good for me as I had promised my sister to go shopping with her today.

Actually, I didn't really have things to buy. The reason of going to Time Square was just to accompany my younger sister because she wanted to 'spend money'. *she's lucky to have a good sister like me*

Honestly, Time Square is really a 'kacang putih' leisure mall. The place is dazzling, dizzying, too colorful, too complicated and too many of similar shops. If counted by fingers, I have been here less than 8 times before. Overall, the apparels and accessories are very cheap. Fashion is everywhere, the most important thing is that you know well in matching the colors of clothes.

I just bought some facial masks, lips gloss, nail varnish, shoes and dress. In comparison between me and my sister, she bought a lot of things particularly in Sasa and Elianto. *$$$ flew away*

My sister spent about RM110 on Elianto products and thus she got the small teddy bear for free. If added together with Sasa products, she has spent about RM200 on cosmetics!

A circle of 'Facial Mask' *I ♥ Aloe Vera*

After walking for few hours long, we had tea-time in Sushi King. I ordered a mini garlic fried rice, seafood pancake and egg-mayo sushi. My younger sister don't like mayonnaise food, so she just had a mini fried chicken rice and sushi.

Okonomiyaki (Japanese Seafood Pancake) *scrumptious*

Garlic Fried Rice *appetizing*

Golden Ball *yummy~mouthwatering*

Alright. Tea-time was over! Let's go shopping again!

Do I look decorous in ivory dress? Yes, that's mine! I like my sister's tent dress as well.
*we ♥ sharing*

But high heels cannot be shared. I don't know why she likes the heels I like.
So, I picked the white heels (size 37); blue heels for her (size 39).

5-Inch Heels (measured by my mum)
I saw this high heels on magazine, finally it's mine! *say yeah*

See! I told her that this color is more suitable for her
*she said: I still like the white color oh~*

She ♥ shopping! I ♥ shopping too!

Tom Tom & Chua Chua

See! Who is back?

Tom Chua!!!
(with Tom Tom & Chua Chua on his hands)

Since he went to Australia, I probably have not seen him for more than a year. I hate Australia because it 'kidnapped' my friends! But this July, they have returned to Malaysia. Welcome back my lovely friends -- Tom! Heng Leng! Sohai! (Shen Hwa) *laughed*

Last Saturday, I only have the opportunity to meet up with Tom because another two guys were not available that day. So, we came to the Look Out Point, Ampang for dinner. They were 8 people of us but I only know few of them. It's okay, I have always wanted to make new friends. *wink*

From the left : Tom, Ralph, Hazli, Jasmine
From the right : May, Chin, Avelyn

Floaters In My Eyes

It has been more than a year, there's something just like a mosquito flying in my right eye whenever I roll my eyes. My sister told me, it'll disappear after some time. Coincidentally, one of my room-mate got the same vision problem with me. As what she described, she got more than one mosquito flying in her eyes whenever she rolls her eyes.

I was so worried about my condition and I decided to go for eye checkup. My room-mate went to see an ophthalmologist and she was told that it's a kind of eye disorder -- Floaters.

Floaters are deposits of various size, shape and motility within the eye's vitreous humor, which is normally transparent. The perception of floaters is known as myodesopsia. Finally, I know that why floaters are visible in my eyes. It's because of the shadows they cast on the retina or their refraction of the light that passes through them, and can appear alone or together with several others in one's field of vision. In my eyes, it appears as spots or fragments of cobwebs, which float slowly whenever I roll my eyes. *sob sob*

According to the ophthalmologist, there are various causes for the appearance of floaters, of which the most common are described here. Simply stated, any damage to the eye that causes material to enter the vitreous humour can result in floaters.

Long hours spent in front of the computer might lead to this vision problem, just like me! *sigh*

Most commonly, there is no treatment recommended. *teardrops on my computer*

 Floaters
(I found it on Google, but mine just got 1 floater. *luckily*)

Memory: Primary School Teacher

What have I been doing these days? Either stay at home or hang out with friends. After having break for almost 5 days, I think it's time to make up my mind and plan for my future life. I should take a pen and paper, list down everything about what I want to be. Easier said than done. I chatted with a friend on MSN yesterday, he gave me many valuable suggestions. Thanks to Weng Seng!

Today, I woke up at almost 12 o'clock in the afternoon. Oh my! Pig! I quickly washed my face and went downstairs for lunch. After having my meal, I started cleaning my study room because I am the one who always keep the house clean among my siblings. When I opened a paper box, I flipped through all the cards and letters that given by my ex-student when I was a teacher in a primary school last 3 years.

Time come and gone, another 3 years have passed. I will never forget the precious moments in my life. Guess what? I was a primary school teacher in year 2007 while waiting out the STPM result for an half year. It was a very well known Chinese primary school -- Lick Hung (力行). I was the class teacher and the subjects I had taught were Chinese, Mathematics, Sciences, Moral, Sport, Music and extra-curricular activity (PBSM for standard 5 only).

Honestly, it's not bad to work as a teacher as the working schedule is fixed. But for a outgoing person like me, I prefer flexible job that I can communicate with people, always learn new things and challenge myself to get improved. *gambateh*

When I read through the cards and letters, it kindled the sorrow and grief in my heart. They were so innocent and pure. They were sincere in telling 'I love you'. I was like a 'queen' in the class. When I was in bad mood, they knew it and they would definitely keep quiet. When I was in good mood, they were happy to play with me. With using different skills in teaching different students, you can handle your students well. *wink*

'Thank You Teacher' Teddy bear - given by one of my handsome student boy, Ivan.
(He's a very proactive boy, always make noise in the class, but still he's a good boy.)

Part of the cards & letters. *heart melted*

Get well wishes? I don't remember I got sick that time. LOL

Is that me? The girl dressed in Red? So pretty, huh?

Look at the handwork! Really great thought!

Why write 'To: Sun Lee Peng' at the bottom? *laughed*

'I Love You'

A handmade card from an excellent student.
(A big love in the front page, a million of  written 'thank you' when open the card)

A cute diary book from my favourite student.
(I really like her so much as she's cute & nice!)

Summary/ Translation: When I get to know teacher you are going to leave us soon, I feel so sad. I know you will go on to university, so I'll pray hard for you. I have so much to tell you, but I don't know where to start. Thanks for always encourage me, I will never forget you. You are really a good teacher. Although you might be strict sometimes, but I know you did it for my good. I love you, Miss Sun!

A Malay-Chinese mixed student made this story letter for me. What a creative way to say thank you!
*I miss you all, my lovely students*

Another bigger Teddy bear given by a flabby boy. He's a top student, cute and chubby!

I know that my students love me so much! Even their parents also told me : "Miss Sun, my son/ daughter is really like you, he/she only remember what you had told him/her". Some parents told me that their son/ daughter cried when I almost leaving the school.

I believe in karma: People treat you in the way you treat them.
